SOME RULES AND REGULATIONS IN
THE ASSOCIATES OF ARTS AND BACHELOR'S DEGREES
TERMS OF ADMISSION
1- Having the general qualifications for
entering higher education institutes."
2- Being permitted to study at higher education institutes according to rules and
regulations of the ( I.R.I.)
3- Having a high school diploma issued in Iran or abroad, and for applicants of
Discontinuous Bachelor degrees, having the Associates of Arts diploma approved by
the Ministry of Higher Education or the Ministry of Health and Medical Training.
4- Being admitted at the general entrance exam of the universities.
5- Paying tuition according to the rules set by the Ministry of Higher Education.
ENROLMENT
The admitted students are required to
enroll in the due time set by the university and select the required subjects.
Those who fail to enroll in the due time are not permitted to select subjects and
study in that semester; however, the semester will be included in their studying
period.
Note: Those who fail to enroll in the due time for their first semester after the
results of general entrance exam are announced will be considered as the drops.
Students are not allowed to enroll in more than one major.
Note: The outstanding students are excluded from the above rule.
Note 2: Students who graduate with only one subject left may select a non-attending
subject provided that they obtain the university approval and the lecturer's consent.
Note 3: Should a student achieve an average 17 in his/her report card, he/she may
select 24 credits in the following semester with the university officials' approval.
Note 4: Should a student graduate by passing 24 credits, he may select all 24 credits
in one semester with the consent of the university officials.
Note 5: The maximum number of credits allowed for the summer semester is 6 credits.
"The maximum period for the Associates of Arts and the Discontinuous Bachelor degree
is 3 years and for the B.A/B.S.c degrees is 6 years. Students who fail to pass the
required credits during the maximum period will be expelled." |
